Established in 1995, Skin Pathology Associates is a group of board-certified dermatopathologists serving clinicians in the Southeast and beyond. Our expertise includes a comprehensive array of disciplines within dermatopathology including inflammatory diseases, alopecia, cutaneous lymphomas, and neoplasms. While we do not see patients directly, we work closely with clinicians to provide the best diagnosis in each clinicopathologic scenario.

Melissa Richard
It is with great pleasure that we announce our next employee of the month, Melissa Richard. She joined the Skin Pathology family in October of 2014 after relocating from New Orleans to Alabama. Although her zip code may have changed, her colligate loyalty has not as she remains a steadfast LSU Fan!
During her time here at Skin Pathology, Melissa has become an essential part of our Client Services Department. Having years of prior customer service experience, Melissa is pleased to have the opportunity to assist and provide support to all of our clients on a daily basis. To paraphrase her manager, Anita Pilato, Melissa is a tremendous asset to our company. She is helpful to our physicians, fellow employees, and clients. No matter what the situation, she approaches her job with a smile and willingness to help.
