Employee Spotlight

Skin Pathology’s continued success can be attributed to its dedicated and highly skilled employees. We are excited to highlight one of our brightest and most committed staff members, as a way to honor them for their hard work and dedication.

Keith Curren

We think of Keith as one of Skin Pathology’s greatest not-so-secret weapons. Since he joined Skin Path in 2009, he has shown his commitment to the organization through his reliability, quest for consistent quality and his ability to work well with others.

His supervisor, Brenda Tyson, states “Keith is a self-starter and takes the initiative to help his teammates in any way he can. Whether cutting surgical slides or working on complicated immunohistochemistry stains, he is always willing to learn, stretching his already impressive skill set. We are very thankful to have him on our team.”

“I enjoy that Skin Pathology’s supervisors are committed to teamwork and flexibility. They are professional and keep a family type unit in place,” Keith said. “I am glad that I was told about Skin Pathology and am very thankful for the job. It came at a great time in my life.”

When not working, Keith enjoys spending time with his family and watching college football. An avid University of Alabama fan, you can often hear him say, “Roll Tide.” If given unlimited resources and time to dedicate to a hobby or skill, Keith states that he would like to learn how to direct and edit movies and maybe, on an even larger scale, learn to act.

Congratulations, Keith. Skin Path appreciates all of your hard work!
